New national records for Bart Swings |
 Bart Swings, Orana Racing Team member and 2008 European Champion, is ready for the upcoming World Championships in Spain. This weekend he participated in the Flanders Grand Prix skating in Oostende and won all events + skated 2 new national records: 1500m and 15km points. Excellent teamwork also from his brother Maarten and Ferre Spruyt, both Orana Racing Team members as well and also heading off to Spain in a couple of days for Worlds. Looking forward to some exciting races in Spain ! |

1-2-3 at Juterborg GBC for Orana Racing Team |
Another succesful weekend for the Orana Racing Team. This time another full Orana podium in Juterborg (DE). The race was part of the German Blade Challenge. In previous races, the Orana team already proved they are strong in winning events. And again, today in Juterborg, another full podium for the Belgian guys. Bart Swings escaped together with teammate Ferre Spruyt and stayed on the breakaway for the rest of the race. Swings crossed the line first, followed by teammate Spruyt. Bart's brother Maarten, made the success for the team complete, winning the field sprint. Click read more for the top 10 results.

European Championships Cadets and Juniors (Denmark) |

Results from the Orana Racing Team skaters at the Junior European Championships:
Bart Swings winning the 15km elimination race, 10km points/elimination, 1000m, 3km relay, 10k points on the road and the marathon! Incredible strong performance. Next to that: 3rd in the 300m TT, 2nd in the 500m sprint series, 3rd in the 20K elimination on the road, 5th 200m TT, 2nd 500m sprint series, 7th in the relay. Congratulations for these super results.
Wannes Van Praet: 3rd in the 10K elimination/points, 1st 3K relay. 2nd in the 20K elimination
Jore van den Berghe: 3rd in the 1000m, 2nd in the 10K points
